Practical Information Regarding the Strike in the Hotel and Restaurant Industry
Due to the ongoing strike in the hotel and restaurant industry, food and service offerings at Camp Aker Solutions will be reduced.Thank you very much for your patience and understanding during this special situation.
Customer Service:

- The reception at Heiane 1 is closed, while other receptions have reduced opening hours. Securitas personnel will be available 24/7 at all camps to assist with room access
- Feedback can be submitted via Synergi or through the company representatives of the respective suppliers
Catering:
- Breakfast: Served as usual, but with a simplified selection. Please remember to prepare a packed lunch during breakfast.
- Lunch:
- Day shift: Bring a packed lunch prepared at breakfast, as before. Guests are encouraged to prepare a sufficiently large packed lunch for the working day.
- Night shift: Lunch service in the canteen is suspended during the strike period. Night-shift guests who require lunch are encouraged to bring a packed meal from breakfast.
- Dinner: Hot meals will be served as usual, but with a reduced selection and side dishes (minimum one hot main course). Some variation between canteens may occur.
Check-In / Check-Out
- Check-in and key distribution will proceed as normal, but some waiting time may occur.
- Guests who receive a key link from the booking system are encouraged to use this to access their room.
Cleaning
- Rooms will be cleaned and prepared prior to check-in, but no cleaning will be provided during the stay. Please contact the reception or Securitas if the room is not properly prepared.
- Cleaning equipment will be made available in the locker/equipment room in each accommodation unit.
- Clean bed linen will be provided at check-in; however, guests must make their own beds.
Welfare Services
- The kiosks located at the receptions will be closed during this period.
- Bicycle and fishing equipment rentals are temporarily suspended, but efforts are being made to find a solution.
- Other welfare services at the camps will continue as normal.
Transport
- All transportation to and from our camps will operate as normal.
Emergency Preparedness
- Emergency and fire safety measures remain in place as before, with automatic alerts to the Stord Fire Department.
