Camp regulations
Violation of the rules may result in demobilization or other disciplinary action in accordance with Aker Solutions’ regulations.
Errors or deficiencies in rooms or common areas should be reported to the reception and they will notify service personnel.

- Washing machines in the barracks and Akerhus can be used between 06.00 and 23.00 every day.
- Private cars must be parked in designated parking lots.
- On request, ID card must be shown to any service personnel. Lack of ID card at request will be reported.
- All service personnel must be treated with respect. Improper behaviour at service personnel may lead to expulsion.
- Smoking is ONLY allowed outside and in a good distance from entrances, preferably in designated places.
- Open fire, for example candles, are not allowed in the rooms or in common areas.
- If the fire alarm goes off, everybody is mandatory to leave the building and go to the mustering place.
- Each room is lent to one person at a time. It is not allowed to have more than one person staying in the room. Short time visitors are of course the exception, but without accommodations.
- Every tenant is obliged to handle his residential room and inventory with care. This also applies to common areas and equipment. Damage due to recklessness by an employee staying at the camp will be invoiced to their company.
- The camp must be quiet between 23.00 and 06.00: Violation may lead to expulsion from Stord Camp and will in any circumstance be reported.
- It is not allowed to wear or to store work clothes in the cafeteria at the camp, at internal common areas or inside the residential rooms. Everyone living at Akerhus will be assigned a wardrobe at one of the facility’s wardrobe buildings. Those accommodated in the facility site barracks will have access to wardrobe space there.
- All possession, abuse or sale of any narcotic substance will immediately lead to expulsion from the camp and reported to the police.
- Keeping or drinking alcohol in the camp and in areas belonging to Aker Solutions`s camp, is not allowed. Violation may lead to expulsion. According to the law in Norway it`s forbidden to drink alcohol in public areas. Violation to this will be handle by the police.
- It is prohibited to cover up or remove batteries from smoke detectors installed inside residential rooms. Violation may lead to expulsion.
- Bringing in and possession of any kind of weapon or explosives to the camp is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate expulsion and reported to the police.
